We have all heard the stories before of a couple of single mothers that get together and build a successful business as their children play at their feet or the young woman from Asia that comes to Australia (speaking little of the language) and who nurtures her business into a multi million dollar empire.

The best thing for us about attending these awards was the realisation that these inspiring people are generally just like us. Yes – even the battling farmers that now produce a line of erotic soaps got to where they are because they work hard, support each other and believe in what they do.

It was a big call to envision our business as it was three years ago, operating in the back room with just a phone, venturing into cyberspace and making an impact.

Everyone has had to buy a last minute gift.  

It was only a decade ago that your time poor friends and relatives used to take a safe bet and buy you a gift voucher decoratively (or not) printed on paper. These almost certainly got lost or thrown out in the gift paper frenzy or perhaps put safely in your pocket only to be washed with your party clothes.

Wait up… don’t think we don’t notice that they are still just plastic money and a set amount at that.

There is no denying that there are people that absolutely hate surprises, want to know exactly what you are spending and only want a gift when they have determined every aspect of it prior to receipt – give them a gift card!

Before making a last minute plastic purchase for anyone you actually care about think about this:

We love our business and one of the things that we enjoy most is giving gifts that are not stock standard supermarket items but luxury products put together with your thought and our time so that the recipient feels so much more appreciated.
